Sound Bites: Oct 22, 2016

One for all, and all for free.

We out here. And we have the music. Here again with some sound bites for you folks. Not entirely sure who I’m talking too, nobody reads this blog, but whatever.

1. Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova Inster Song, Silver Sky

“Silver Sky, Falls apart, you and I…”

What a pretty little song. It’s one of those songs where you really only need a little bit of it and the rest is just filler to connect versions of that part together. The main chorus and its corresponding musical number is all you really need and the stuff in between is the connecting bits which qualify the whole thing to be a song rather than a midi file.

2. Trinity Blood ED, Broken Wings

I used to LOVE this song. A lot.

Now… meh. It’s a decent enough though, which is more than I can say for the show.

Not much more to say to be honest. Meh, but okay.

3. Blood + OP, Season’s Call

I really like HYDE. He’s from a genre of music that I don’t typically listen to that often (Visual-Kei), but I am a big fan of a few artists in that genre, HYDE being one of them. This song in particular is one of my favorites, and is one of his most popular songs. Musicality-wise, I am always a sucker for calm and composed vocals followed by a transition using a eighth or sixteenth note drum beat to signal a more kinetic section to follow, and this song’s chorus is reached through such a transition. I love this song.

Welp, that’s all for now folks. As always, thanks for reading and have a great day.

Oh, you must have mistaken this for your yarn, ’cause this is MY yarn.
